I’ve always been fascinated about light and color, and offer customized professional-development and training workshops for photographers in digital color management, working with resolution, and Photoshop techniques. The worksop focuses on light and comes with an e-book designed in Apple Books for Authors.

These training workshops grew out of work I completed at the Rochester Institute of Technology. While an Editor/Photographer at The Hartford Courant, I was enrolled in the program to learn cutting-edge digital photography technologies. I returned to then train our staff of lab technicians, photographers and editors in the proper ways of processing digital color photographs for both print and digital platforms.

I have since presented this course to large newspapers across the country and customized the workshop for the ESPN Digital Photography team and other design and creative professionals on the ESPN staff.

The curriculum takes professionals through a broad overview of how digital photography and cameras work, and then into specific technical details of photo-editing tools and software. We solve problems and answer questions that have been frustrating production staff and photographers alike. The course can generally be presented over 1-2 days, and I receive consistently high praise and good reviews.
